Perhaps I'm a Runner?

Flash-foward several months again and I've discovered that this whole running thing is an addiction...and I've gotten Greg hooked. Muahahah. :>

Follow my journey as I prepare for the Chicago Marathon and get in tip-top shape. A far cry from my days as a fat kid that took like 25 minutes to run a mile in gym class. If only Mr. Simpson could see me now...

I like to moveit, moveit

Every year, while you're waiting in the corrals before every organized training run and the Mini, the same montage of songs is played. This little ditty includes several songs, and is supposed to get you pepped up and ready to run.

Included are such inspirational hits as "Right Now" by Van Halen, "Pump Up the Jam" by Technotronic, and "The Bomb" by Bucketheads. The song they've given the honor of starting off the chaos-mix is "I Like to Move It." Every year I hear it and I'm like "I like to move it, move it. I wish they'd play this song longer." So I downloaded it.

Big mistake.

By "Physicallyfitphysicallyfitphysicallyphysicallyphysicallyfit" I was ready to throw my iPod across the gym. Holy crap. I thought I'd share...
