Waiting to be motivated
I need new music. That's my conclusion after the first week of training. Or I need something in my life to happen to frustrate me more... Maybe I started running for the wrong reasons. Now it just seems hard. Life is good. I'm happy, I don't really care too much if I gain a couple of pounds because I'm not basing my happiness on it. Anyway, I'm getting to a better place mentally. I'm feeling the benefits of running... And I've got a new partner. Greg's running with me and is doing a great job. It's good to have someone to keep me accountable. Plus he makes me feel like I'm a running rockstar. Can't let him think I'm not. :)

Maybe the new Nike + iPod combo would be a good motivator. You'd have to buy new shoes and the sensor thing though. Read the section on "Stay in Sync". It sounds pretty cool.
